Metaphorically

All the words on the image are extracted from the book Exercise in Style written by Raymond Queneau. Among all the chapters of the book, I chose the chapter Metaphorically, and visualized it based on my subjective interpretation.
My impression of a word "metaphor" is both actions of revealing and concealing. I used light and shadow as the components of my work to visualize this sense of a word "metaphor". Accordingly, I made letters with various kinds of papers and took pictures of these letters in different ways. Also, I put them together using the photoshop and tried to display quiet and implicit mood like a poem gives. I hope that my work can demonstrate the visual impression of a word "metaphorically".
